Love and Pride

T has asked me to share something with my good friends in Blogland.
For months he and G have been busily working on his new website and it finally went live a couple of weeks ago.

T told us he was gay in December 2013 but I haven't shared that information on here before as I didn't think it was mine to share, but I'm doing so now because T has asked me to.
Last Spring T found out about a local LGBT youth group who meet on a weekly basis. Through them he has made lots of friends and they have provided him with much needed support.
T wanted to set up the website for others to access in order for them to find online support.
Please share the website with anyone you feel may be interested because as the website states

'even if just one person finds something helpful from our site then we have achieved something incredible.'

  2. Well done to T and G, the website looks great. I hope lots of people can find help and advice from it and that it goes from strength to strength, and well done to T, this could be such a trying time in his life but instead he's thinking of others. He's growing up to be such a generous and caring young man.

  3. What a fantastic young man you have and what wonderful parents you must have been that T felt he could share his inner most secret with you at such a young age. I hope the website does well after so much work has gone into it.

  5. What a fantastic site. You must be so proud of T for all the work he has put into making sure that people have somewhere to go to get support if they need/want it.

How great that he knew he could tell his family and be accepted for who he is. A bright future ahead I am sure.

  13. Hi Lisa - what a professional looking website, very enterprising. Please don't think I"m being in any way negative, but I noticed that T's surname shows in the forum area of the group, and also that he mentions his hometown in the Tony's Story section. It may be that you and G are happy for this information to be out there, in which case please disregard this, and my apologies for poking my nose in, but as you know, I have a son the same age as T, and it would make me a little uneasy. xx
