Thinking Ahead

When the days of January are wet and grey it's easy to wish for those warm and sunshiney days of July.
And then S brings home her reading book from school.

I guess the answer is to get the best out of everything.

  8. Couldn't even think of having a picnic here today - its grey and soggy - roll on summer but lets just hope the creepy crawlies don't disturb our picnic fun :)

  9. Love the timing. Why did my lot always bring home Christmas Adventure in March? Too long after to be happy, too long before to be bothered.Eh well, roll on summer. (but if this year shifts like last year did it will be here and gone too soon.)

  10. Oh yes I remember a picnic at the zoo where we had wasps flying around everywhere and my friends daughter screaming with fright the whole time!
